Hospice is not about giving up. It’s about giving care. At Rhythm of Life, we provide medications, equipment, and 24/7 support (including holidays and weekends) to manage symptoms and promote comfort. We also extend bereavement counseling for families and friends after the passing of a loved one.
Hospice is not a place — it’s a service that comes to wherever your loved one calls home, whether that’s a private residence, hospital, or assisted living facility.
*By Nevada law, you have a choice in which hospice best fits you, or a your loved ones, needs. We encourage you to choose a Medicare-Certified, Joint Commission Accredited hospice to ensure best practices. Rhythm of Life Hospice meets these qualifications providing the highest standards of hospice and palliative care for over 15 years.
You may want to discuss hospice with your physician if your loved one is experiencing:

Increased or uncontrollable pain
Frequent hospitalizations or infections
Weakness, fatigue, or shortness of breath
Decreased ability to perform daily activities
Alterations in mental status
Exhausted caregivers
The desire to stop aggressive treatments

My father-in-law recently needed hospice services and we had great support and care from Rhythm of Life Hospice! They handled all of his needs and our needs to get through such a difficult time. All of the employees were very professional and we always got prompt responses for any calls or medical needs. They handled everything from medications, ordering/delivery of medical devices and oxygen, bi-weekly nurse visits, 5 day/week CNA visits, social service visits, pastor visits.... WE alway felt like our concerns were taken seriously and with compassion. I highly recommend this company!

Imelda and the staff at Rhythm of Life worked so incredibly hard to provide care for my dad in the last weeks of his life. Not only did they provide direct medical care to him, they also provided resources in the community for transitions of care when he required more than what was capable in the home. I am forever grateful to Imelda and staff for the care that they provided to my dad and us in his last weeks.

Placing a loved one on hospice is never an easy decision. I want to sincerely thank Rhythm of Life — especially Imelda, Elias, Helen (CNA), and Cecil — for always putting my dad’s comfort first. Unlike larger companies, they answered every phone call and concern I had, with genuine care. I am truly grateful for the support and compassion they provided during this difficult time. They were so organized from beginning to end.

Anyone can make a hospice referral. Typically your physician will write you an order if he or she feels you are appropriate for the service or could benefit from our services. You can always contact our admissions staff for a consultation to determine if you are eligible for hospice care.
Not at all. Hospice Care is available to anyone who has a life-threatening or terminal illness – that has a prognosis of six months or less if the illness runs its normal course. Patients can remain in hospice longer than six months if necessary.
No – this is not true. Hospice is not a place, but a philosophy of care. The majority of hospice care takes place in the home where the person can be surrounded by family and familiar settings. We also provide Paliative Care to those in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and even hospitals. We provide services anywhere that you are – or call home.
Rhythm of Life Hospice Care works under the guidance of your physician. He or she sees and approves all the plans of care, is invited to team conferences and continues to provide primary medical services.
